Solid State DrivesChoose server-class solid state drives (SSDs) for exceptional read/write performance and low latency. SSDs provide reliable and secure enterprise-class storage ideal for high-performance and data-intensive applications.
SATA Hard DrivesSATA II hard drives include a 3.0Gb/s interface with 8MB of cache and rotation speed of 7,200RPMs, and use NCQ for enhanced performance. SATA III drives include a 6.0Gb/s interface with 64MB of cache. SATA drives are best suited for web, mail, or high-capacity storage servers.
SA-SCSI Hard DrivesSA-SCSI hard drives include a 3.0Gb/s interface with 16MB of cache and rotation speed of 10,000 or 15,000RPMs. SA-SCSI drives’ high-performance speed and reliability are best suited for game, database, streaming media, and mission-critical servers.
Port Speed OptionsEach server comes standard with 100Mbps Public and Private network ports. For servers with high bandwidth or Private network utilization we offer speeds up to 10Gbps. For redundant network connectivity we offer dual uplink configurations that feature redundancy on both the public and private network ports (four uplinks total per server) on compatible servers, eliminating single points of failure.
BandwidthMultiple Public Network bandwidth options, including both metered or unmetered, are available for each server. This allows for custom configurations to suit individual server requirements.
Raptor Hard DrivesWestern Digital® Raptor hard drives include a 1.5Gb/s interface with 16MB of cache and rotation speed of 10,000 RPMs, and use NCQ for enhanced performance. Raptor drives' enhanced speed over SATA II drives are best suited for game, database, and high-volume web servers.
Hardware RAID ControllerHardware RAID controllers provide the ability to create redundant drive arrays, providing protection against a possible drive failure. All RAID controllers are installed with a battery backup unit and with write caching enabled.
RAMServer-grade RAM provides additional performance gains.
IPv4 AddressesEach Dimensions Software® server comes with 1 primary IPv4 address standard. Additional IPv4 addresses are available in quantities of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32.
